Spring Violets progress

It's been a pretty good week for stitching for me; I think I've managed to stitch almost everyday since my last post (even if it has been only for an hour or so)!  As such, I've made good progress on Spring Violets:

I love those cute little bluebirds in the bottom right corner!  This cheerful design helped to ward off the 3 very cold days we had early in the week, and it seems to be working its magic since we had a lovely, sunny, warm (for this part of the world in early February) day today.  Dan and I visited one of our local greenhouses for their "Eager Gardeners" open house this afternoon, and we picked up some flower and vegetable seeds.  It's almost time to get seedlings started, which can only help to further hasten spring!

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!
