Stickideen von der Wiehenburg - Rose Quaker
Stitched one-over-one on 25ct Cream Lugana with DMC floss as charted
Started September 5, 2011. Completed January 12, 2013.
The photos aren't as good as I'd hoped they would be but we had cloudy weather today and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a few days. I was so excited to share this piece that I couldn't wait until next weekend to take photos!
I'm really happy with how this design turned out. I'm not sure when I'll get it framed or where I'll hang it, but this one is definitely staying with me!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations! It was such great fun watching this piece develop. Well done, my dear!
Oh my, congratulations on Rose Quaker finish. That is one stunning piece! It didn't take you too long to stitch it too :)
I couldn't find your email address to reply your question concerning my Epiphanie Lola bag so I figured I'll just reply here. Hope you don't mind.
I think the quality of the bag is superb. The entire bag is padded to better protect my camera and I especially love the synthetic leather. It feels buttery soft and would have fooled me into thinking it's genuine leather had it not been stated on the website. The padded cross-body strap is comfortable to wear as well, despite the size of the bag. Since I don't have a lot of gear yet, I can't comment on how comfortable it would be when the bag is heavy. However, on all accounts, it's still very comfortable fully packed. It's highly recommended by quite a number of women photographers which was how it came across my radar. I think all in all, for its price, it's a great product. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
Hugs,
Veronica.
Congrats on a great finish!

Congrats on the finish, Christine! It's a lovely piece. Did you pick the floss colours, or did the pattern recommend them?
