Still stitching!

First of all, thanks for your kind comments on my recent posts.  I really appreciate them!  :-)

With this post, I'm happy to say that I've finished stitching all of the ornaments that I kitted up last month!  My latest finish:

Little House Needleworks - Winter Sampler (JCS Ornament issue 2009)
Stitched on 32ct Natural Belfast linen; Crescent Colors Bamboo substituted for Crescent Colors Toasted Marshmallow, all other threads as charted

This is a really cute design but a bit big for an ornament, in my opinion.  I'd love to find a cute, small frame to put it in!

I also managed to ornamentify the Britty Christmas Puppy ornament I finished stitching a few weeks ago, since this was the ornament I donated to our local Ronald McDonald House through my local needlecraft guild.  (Sorry for the not great cell phone pic!)

I think it turned out pretty well!  I used the felt-backed ornament instructions I found on the Focus on Finishing blog and the Learn to Finish with the Twisted Stitcher blog.  It was actually a really easy way to finish an ornament.

Thanks for stopping by!
