I'd like to say that I spent many hours cozy and warm in my house getting lots of stitching done but that wasn't the case. I do have a bit of progress to share with you on Rose Quaker:
This was my progress as of January 15 and I've since set this one aside for a little while. On Thursday evening, I finally got around to a new start for January. Here is my little blob that will eventually turn into the Poppy Pixie by Nora Corbett:
Definitely not much to see yet! I'm stitching this one two-over-two on 28ct Antique White Lugana.
I did spend the week curled up with an excellent book: The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley. I highly, highly recommend this book! I've read one of her books before (The Winter Sea) and really enjoyed it as well. I really like her writing style.

Gorgeous sampler! Really, really lovely.
Loving that sampler Christine... gorgeous. Was thinking this morning there had notbeen anything from you for a bit!
Your Rose Quaker is looking fantastic. Hope your weather warms a little for you soon......
Can't wait to see some more of your Poppy. I found my partially kitted Poppy the other day and have been wanting to add her as a WIP but just can't decide on fabric.
Your sampler looks lovely Christine, and I love how Poppy looks already, such a vibrant red. I hope it warms up for you soon, we've been extremely lucky in Wales so far this year, not even a hint of snow (so far!)
Rose Quaker is really coming along! I still love the colors...
Beautiful stitching. Great start on Poppy. I look forward to seeing more.
Hugs,
Veronica.
Ohhhhh, your stitching is looking so lovely and I can't wait to see more of Poppy :o)
