John Clayton (Heritage Stitchcraft) - Neuschwanstein Castle
Stitched using kit materials. Started January 1, 2011. Complete October 21, 2011.
And here are a couple of close-up photos:
I think the photos offer a pretty fair representation of the colours in the piece but I find it so difficult to photograph projects that are stitched on white fabric!
I'm really happy to have this project completed, especially since it was finished in less than a year after it was started! The next design in this series that I have to stitch is Paris, which I hope will stitch up as quickly. I won't be starting it right away though. I'm going to take some time to work on a few smaller projects, along with Rose Quaker, for the next little while. I started working on the ornament I'm going to donate to Ronald McDonald House last night and it's stitched up very quickly. I should have another finish to post soon!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

It's beautiful! Looks like a fairytale, just like in real life. ;) Congratulations on the finish.
Beautiful, Christine! Congrats on the finish. I'm looking forward to seeing Paris, too!
Congratulations, it's lovely
Congratulations on such a stunning finish! It's gorgeous.
How did I miss this post? Your castle is lovely! I had this pattern myself, but gave it to a German friend who stitched it up in no time at all. At least I get to admire it when I go to visit her.
Congrats on a job well done.
That's gorgeous! Congratulations on a lovely finish!
I can't believe how quickly you finished this once you got going. It looks great!
