Almost across the top!

I pulled out Rose Quaker the other evening and have been working my way to the top right-hand corner of the design. Since I last worked on this piece, I added the beige motif at the top as well as the letters "Q" and "M" and the small red motif. Just one more motif to the right of the beige one and I'll be all the way across the top of the design!

Thanks for your comments on my last post. I'm still trying to decide if I want to stitch the design. I've never done a Chatelaine online class before and I was wondering when the supply list is typically released. I checked the European Cross Stitch website but they don't have the design listed there yet. Can anyone give me a brief idea of what to expect if I sign up for the class? Thank you!

ECC gets the materials list the same time Martina releases it in the group. Typically that's about two weeks or so before the first part of the design is released. In all honesty, that's the part I find most frustrating. Because you can't start stitching as soon as the first part is released. Now, ECC is pretty good about sending as much of the kit as is available if some of the supplies are delayed. Have you checked the FAQ on the Chatelaine BB? http://chatelainedesigns.yuku.com/forums/66/Frequently-Asked-Questions-FAQ-and-Stitching-Resources That may answer some of your questions. Feel free to message me with any others you have, or post on the Chatelaine BB. There are lots of helpful folks there!

The colors on this just make me feel warm and homey. It's going to be stunning when it's finished!

Okay, that's it. Rose Quaker is going on my to-stitch list for next year. I've been holding on it for too long. Yours is lovely.

Paris is stunning. The only Chatelaine class I've signed up for is Chinese Garden Mandala so far so I can't give you much information regarding the materials list. However, what Cheryl said sounds about right as that was how it went with CGM as well.

Hugs,
Veronica.

Rose Quaker looks beautiful, Christine! It's been so long since I've taken a Chatelaine online class (or Mystery) that I really don't remember the timing of how it all comes together. Sorry! I still think you won't be disappointed. ;)
