Stained Glass Pine finish

The third ornament that I've stitched this year is now completed!

Stained Glass Pine

Stained Glass Pine
Ink Circles - Stained Glass Pine
From the 2010 JCS Ornament issue. Stitched on 32ct Cream Belfast linen using recommended DMC floss.
Started October 17, 2010. Completed November 11, 2010.

I think that I may stitch one or two more ornaments but then I'll really have to think about getting all of my stitched ornaments made into finished ornaments that I can hang on the tree.

I had an urge to knit another dishcloth after I finally used the dishcloth I knit last year...wow, way better than store-bought dishcloths! So last night I started a pretty simple one, the Garter Ridges dishcloth from Elizabeth Carl's Three Easy Wash Cloths (link to free pattern on Ravelry). I worked 6 of the 10 repeats last night and it's coming along quite well:

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Pretty finish! I love your dishcloth too - knitting dishcloths was on my list of things to do this year, but sadly, I haven't managed one (yet).

What a nice tree Christine! It turned out really well. As to the dishcloths... how are they for drying quickly? I'd be worried a little about them getting musty smelling.
