Knitted dishcloths

I've finally had a chance to take a photo of the three dishcloths that I knitted recently.

Three Easy Dishcloths
Three Easy Dishcloths by Elizabeth Carls
From top left: stockinette, garter ridges, box stitch
Knitted with Bernat Handicrafter Cotton in Off White using US7/4.5mm needles.
Started November 12, 2010 - Completed November 20, 2010

There are a couple of mistakes but since I'll be keeping these for myself, I'm not overly worried about it. My tension leaves something to be desired but I really don't do a lot of knitting so, again, I'm not overly worried about it. I have found some other patterns I'd like to try at some point.

I also finished stitching the ornament I started last weekend but no photos yet. I'm not sure how much stitching time I'll have this weekend since I've got a couple of things planned but hopefully I can work on something!

These are so pretty! I am sure that your tension will improve as you keep on knitting. I remember my mom being like a machine! She barely even needed to look at what she was doing. I on the other hand think I am doing well to cast on and knit.... just knit... no purl. Yes, I have made a number of scarves, with that fun fuzzy wool my daughter loves. It hides rather big mistakes wonderfully!

Those look lovely, and I'm sure will be a great addition to your house.

Thanks for commenting on my blog - I have to say that the Cat's Whisker's Studio ornament is one I would have given a miss too, except that I thought it would look fantastic in one colour. The original was much more festive, and has about 5 colours in it.

I love the stitches/texture used in the top one especially.
