They're done!!

My wedding thank you cards are finally done!! I finished putting them together on Friday evening and between yesterday and this evening, I got all of the cards written, addressed and stamped! (Dan did help out with putting the return address labels on.) It feels really good to have that project done and behind me...I hope everyone likes the card I made for them!

Thanks for your compliments on the cards I posted in my last post. I'm really happy that my friend Kristie liked the birthday card that I made for her. She called to say it totally made her day.

I can finally share a couple of stitched projects with you since my recipient of the Rotation BB Needlework Smalls Exchange has received her package. I got to stitch for Melanie, which I was so excited about. I made her a biscornu and a small scissor fob. It was only my second time making each of them and I think they turned out well. I'm especially happy with the biscornu...I couldn't have asked for a better colour match between the beads and the floss! Both the biscornu and fob were stitched with Dinky Dyes silk in Oceans Pines on white Jubilee cloth. The design is a freebie from Ellen Maurer-Stroh and is part of her Stitcher's Tools series available on at her forum. I also included some sticky notes, a couple of highlighters, a handmade card and a kitted "Cloister Garden" (by the Drawn Thread) in the package.
